This image was taken at a wedding in Woburn, Bedfordshire where the chaps met for a 'pre-wedding' drink to settle the nerves at the Black Horse pub.

I'd noticed the illustration of the ladies face on the wall in the background as soon as I walked in the pub and wanted to include her in an image of the guys if I could. I got in the right position and waited for the right moment.

The image captures a lovely moment of the groom sharing a laugh with his male friends and family whilst quietly being 'watched-over' by a strikingly feminine presence clearly keeping an eye on the boys and making sure that everything is in order.

Taken after the 'set-up' shots of the cake cutting.

I love the way the three play their part in the image. The boy already has his camera up to his eye, the girl nearest is 'winding-on' (no doubt because the last person didn't) and the girl in the middle of the frame seems to be asking the bride to move her hair before taking her shot.
