'Under the Bridge' - Chelsea Football Club

A recent corporate commission took me down to London town and the home of Chelsea Football Club, Stamford Bridge.

Under the Bridge is a unique London music venue that has been purpose built with state-of-the-art sound and lighting. It's a really cool space and has around 150 images from the music industry sourced from rockarchive.com beautifully printed and framed on the walls throughout the club. The images cover many decades of music photography featuring live performances, collaborations with musicians and documentary images. I was blown away by the quality of the images and the quality of framing, it really was an unexpected treat.

The job was for Audi UK who had laid on a celebration evening for their head office staff to celebrate their success in 2013. The entertainment for the evening was kicked-off by the 'Sparklers' LED Drummers, who I'd never seen before and performed a really unique act. The main act followed, whom I can't mention and couldn't take photos of and the evening was wrapped up by the legend that is Trevor Nelson.

Despite the professional disappointment of not being able to photograph the main act I came away with some very satisfying images. A couple from the night...click any thumbnail to enlarge.

Iceland...

I spent last weekend in Iceland with one of my corporate clients accompanying a group of their guests on an incentive trip.

A couple of highlights of the trip were a visit to the Gullfoss waterfalls located in the southwest of Iceland (unfortunately I only had 15 minutes here) and hanging on to the back of a snowmobile with one hand whilst it was traveling at speeds of up to 30 miles an hour trying to photograph the guests on their snowmobiles!

Third time I've been to Iceland and I have to admit it's growing on me. A couple of images from the trip...click for a larger version.
